Version 2Shaelyn Blaney, Co-Founder

Shaelyn has been working with kids from a young age. She graduated from the University of Redlands with a degree in Visual and Media Studies with a concentration in Radio. During her time at the university, she worked for the school’s service program that provided free tutoring to the surrounding community. She worked as a tutor for several years and desired to better the program by becoming a director for her final years at the UoR. Shaelyn decided to return to school and continue her education at Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena to obtain her Masters in Education and Multi-subject and special education teaching credential. Her desire to further her own mission became the foundation of S.h.a.d.i.e. Grove Tutoring as she wants everyone to embrace the learner in themselves. Shaelyn hopes that her passion for helping students be the best they can be translates to the services that S.h.a.d.ie. offers.
